We are the UK's professional body for musicians, offering essential

The ISM exists to offer comprehensive back-up for all your professional
work as a musician, giving the status and security of belonging
to a professional body, and contacts with like-minded colleagues.
We have authoritative views on issues ranging from education to
ethics, and from intellectual property to broadcasting. We have
agreements with the BBC, links with education agencies, and contacts
with government departments.
Full members receive friendly and practical advice on a huge range
of matters, whether legal, professional or personal.
